Control Engineering Group was started in April 1985 by Wayne Deming.
Control Engineering Group was started in April 1985 by Wayne Deming.The company started by providing control and electrical work for customers mostly in the food industry such as: Borden Dairy, Silver Springs Citrus Co-op, TG Lee Dairy, Coca Cola and Winn Dixie/Deep South.
The company grew and expanded into providing electrical work for industrial plants as well as local municipalities such as Orange, Seminole, Lake and Osceola School Boards. The company grew and flourished under Wayne’s guidance. In 2016 Wayne decided after 40 years in the electrical industry to semi-retire and in January 2017 the companies control and guidance was handed over to Carlos Rivera.
Carlos brings over 20 years in the electrical industry along with his service in the U.S. Marine Corps. Carlos is a service disabled veteran from his service in the U.S. Marine Corps. In 2017 we applied for and became certified through the State of Florida Office of Supplier Diversity and the Veterans Administration as a Minority Business Enterprise and a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business.
